Zhang Tianshu

Dr Zhang has worked and studied at the University of Science and Technology of China, the University of Aveiro in Portugal and the Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (IMRE), A*STAR, Singapore. Before returning to China, he worked as an ARC Research Fellow, at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, the University of New South Wales, Australia. His research focuses on synthesis of powders, theoretical molding of sintering processes and applications of functional and structural ceramics. He has published more than 110 articles in international journals and more than 20 papers in Chinese journals, as well as more than 40 conference papers. He also edited 4 books and 16 monographs in English. He has SCI citations of >3,600 and an H-index of 33. He has applied a total number of 31 national invention patents, 5 of which have been authorized.
